Founded in 2003 as Tech Distribution, the company quickly grew and established itself as the leading value-added Microsoft distributor, later adding Adobe to its business lines. Over the years the company has accumulated a wealth of knowledge, experience, and has been acknowledged through numerous awards by the industry, software vendors, clients and employees.
Tech Distribution was re-named Tech One Global in 2009 as a part of a major re-branding effort, which also saw the company ISO 9001:2008 Certified, Audit and finance at IFRS and services at Black Belt Six Sigma level. Further more an integrated collaboration and ERP solutions has been implemented to ensure efficient and resourceful operation through out the company's network. Tech One Global, today it has operations in Singapore, Sri Lanka, Brunei, Bangladesh, Nepal and Dubai, opening up soon in Malaysia, Indonesia and Philippines.
Distribution
Tech One Global pioneered the concept of value added software distribution back in 2004. As a 100% focused software distribution company, Tech One Global offers partners technical support, licensing expertise, partner readiness programs and employee dedicated account executives for OEM, Retail, SME and Enterprise resellers. Tech One Global operates End-user call center, a fully equipped learning center as well as the first Microsoft Experience Center anywhere in the world, allowing partners to conduct "proof of concept", software stress tests, and even C level presentations at a fully equipped board room.
Tech One Global is the distributor or local partner in several countries and territories for Microsoft and Adobe.
Services
As a Gold Certified Microsoft partner which is both Six Sigma Black Belt and ISO Certified, Tech One Global Services processes the skills, expertise and structure to deliver complex IT solutions based on Microsoft technology anywhere in the world. Since 2006 our Professional Services team have implemented solutions, Unified Messaging, OCS and Exchange, Windows mobile push mail and calendar integration; MOSS SharePoint; Server consolidation, virtualization and Microsoft Hyper-V and ERP, Microsoft Axapta to SME and enterprise clients in Finance and Banking, Airlines, Government and Telecommunications.
Tech One Global manages and operates the Microsoft Call Center for Sri Lanka and Maldives. Our consultants and developers are available to clients worldwide and can be deployed with 24 hrs notices subject to local travel restrictions.
Lars Jeppesen
Chief Executive Officer
Lars Jeppesen is the CEO of Tech One Global which he co-founded in 2004 as Tech Distribution, since December, 2008 and was appointed to transform the vision and positioning of Tech One Global into a Software Services and Solutions orientated company. He is responsible for steering the company to constant innovation and vision and defining the strategic business and marketing goals.
Lars has over twenty years of core marketing and management experience and has held a variety of leadership positions. Prior to Tech One Global, Lars led up the Middle East and Africa business operations at Kofax, Dubai, UAE and held roles as CEO of Tech Distribution Lanka Pvt Ltd; as a Founder and Managing Director of Valuevad; and as a Solutions Marketing Manager at Eastman Kodak Company, EMEA. His international business experience has focused on building up a number of business ventures as well as acquiring extensive knowledge in the technology industry, primarily Information Capture, Imaging, Optical Character Recognition, ECM and EDMS.
Lars is continuously seeking new business opportunities. His entrepreneurial ways began early at 22-year-old when founded Micro Deal and co-founded Space World, Denmark’s first IT specialist retailer - he is a strong advocate for open and competitive business practices.
Wasantha Weerakoone
Chief Operating Officer
Weerakoone is the COO of Tech One Global and manages all operational functions - from product distribution to global sales, training and services. He co-founded Tech One Global (then Tech Distribution) in 2004 and is a key player in engaging the marketplace and demonstrating growth and development.
Wasantha bring over 19 years of experience in the information technology industry and brings a wealth of leadership and entrepreneurial expertise to the Tech One Global management team. An engineer by profession, he quickly assumed a business focus and has a track record for developing small companies into successful enterprises. Prior to joining Tech One Global, Wasantha served as the Chairman of Sanergy PVT Ltd and Sanje Lanka PVT Ltd. In addition he has worked in a variety of leadership and product management positions at Valuevad and Ali bin Ali. His roles have encompassed working on enterprise content management solution projects, IT Distribution and Renewable energy.
His main focus has been business development and he sees himself as a business leader and motivator. He is a ‘’hands-on’’ individual and has a passion for renewable energy and environmental projects.
Rakesh Wahi
Director
Rakesh Wahi is one of the Founders of Tech One Limited. He was involved with the setting up and capitalization of the company and reviews the performance of the business of behalf of shareholders specifically to build shareholder value.
Mr. Wahi is an investment banker and entrepreneur with an emerging markets appetite and has been involved with the media, telecommunications, IT and Education industries across North America, Europe, Middle East, South & South East Asia and Africa. He has been involved with the successful set up and exits of several start ups. Mr. Wahi is also the co-founder and Vice Chairman of CNBC Africa and Murdoch University, Dubai.
Mr. Wahi started his career with the Indian Army and was decorate with the prestigious Vishisht Seva Medal ("VSM") by the President of India in 1985. He was also part of India's scientific expedition to the Antarctica in 1987/88. He has a Bachelor of Science degree (Physics & Mathematics) and a Bachelor of Technology degree in Civil Engineering from the Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. He is a Chartered Engineer from the Institute of Engineers, Calcutta, India.

Sunaina Ghimire Pandey

Ms. Sunaina Ghimire Pandey is the General Manager of Tech One Global Nepal. Sunaina has more than 14 years of experience in the field of ICT. Started from 1998 as a programmer and instructor, she has diverse experience on Series of Microsoft Operating System & Application Localization, sales and marketing as Microsoft Account Manager and on 2007 she lead Microsoft Partnership for Technology Access (PTA) program as a Business Development Manager. As she comes from a multi-disciplinary background that spreads across market development, IT Trade, National standards on IT, Bilingual Dictionary, technology & information management and antipiracy movements in Nepal.
A hobby to step into minimizes the digital gap in the country she comes up with new concept of ICT magazine in national language. Today also this has been ingenious contribution to the nation.
She is also actively associated as an Executive Member of Computer Association of Nepal (CAN) where she is active to uplift Women in the field of IT. Besides this she has been associated with social sector in development initiatives on creating technology mediated frameworks for rural e-service.
